Softball Camps
The Iowa Central softball program has a slew of camps and activities for area softball players to attend this winter. The softball program will continue its annual Winter Indoor League running from Sunday, Jan. 8. To Sunday, Feb. 29, and will host six winter mini camps throughout January.
“From ASA to high school to the college level, we have a lot of girls who are excited about softball and that has led to a number of strong programs. We are proud to be a part of that tradition,” said head softball coach Josh Sandin. “We have girls looking forward to camps and indoor league each year and its fun to see them come through year after year.”
All the activities will be staffed by the Iowa Central softball coaching staff and players. Each event will take place in the Triton’s winter home, the Career Education Building. The 19,500 square-foot all-purpose gym is home to the Triton athletic programs in the winter months. It has six batting cages and is large enough for regulation baseball-sized infield. The building is attached to The Rec which has a weight room, cardio center, locker rooms and tanning beds.
For additional questions or to register for any camps, contact head softball coach Josh Sandin at 515-574-1345 or e-mail at sandin@iowacentral.edu. Registration forms are available via the link below. Make checks payable to Iowa Central Softball.
