Several former Iowa Central football standouts were in action this past weekend around the country.
Myron Cunningham, who earned All-American honors while playing for the Tritons, helped Arkansas upset then-No. 16 Mississippi State. Cunningham got the start at left tackle, helping the offense pass for 212 yards and run for another 63.
Also in SEC action, Marquis Burks recorded a tackle as Auburn fell to Georgia.
North Alabama, which is playing a split schedule, faced Liberty on the road. Blake Dever completed 3 of 3 passes for 28 yards and ran two times for 15 yards.
Lamont Bishop and Oklahoma State improved to 3-0 with a convincing win over Kansas. Demond Stewart and Charlotte fell to Florida Atlantic.
Jatoviay Hill had 90 yards rushing and three catches for 10 yards as Waldorf downed Dakota State. Hill scored touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters for the game-winning points.
