Tritons lose to DMACC

A hot shooting DMACC team was too much for Iowa Central to overcome in a 90-63 loss for the Tritons. DMACC shot 49% from the floor for the game while Iowa Central shot 36%. "Give DMACC credit, they shot the ball very well and we didn't. Our game is predicated on our outside shooting and we didn't make shots today. Give DMACC credit too, I thought they were very good defensively." Said Dennis Pilcher, head coach of Iowa Central. In a back and forth game midway through the first half, Iowa Central opened up a 27-19 lead. But DMACC came roaring back and took a 9 point lead of their own at half, 47-38. Iowa Central couldn't get any closer in the second half in their losing effort.
