In Varsity Reserve competition, Iowa Central defeated Morningside 4-1 and Saint Ambrose 4-1.

"Our men played very focused tennis all weekend, and it really started with the win Thursday over Grand View. We improved our overall play during the course of the weekend, and beat Mornignside who has good line-up depth. St. Ambrose graduated several top players from last year's squad, so they were not as strong; however, our guys did a great job of keeping up the intensity and winning big points in key games. Our doubles play was a strong for us the entire weekend; Friday vs. Morningside was probably the best we have served and returned serve since our program started," said Head Coach Todd Redenius.

With the win Iowa Central moves to 3-2 on the year and will host Buena Vista at Dodger Courts at 3:30 Thursday.
