Iowa Central freshman Deonte Bryant made an instant impact in Week 1.

Bryant recorded three sacks, forced two fumbles and racked up six total tackles as the Tritons topped Southern-Shreveport, 52-0. 

The Iowa Central defense held the Jags to under 80 yards of total offense. They return to action on Saturday vs. Iowa Western in a Top-10 showdown.
