While still in the middle of a chase to both a conference and national title, the Iowa Central football team received some positive news heading into another Top-10 showdown with Iowa Western this Saturday.
Members of the Triton offensive line, coached by Justice Clegg, picked up Div. I offers from several different schools.
"Awesome day for the 'Sled Dawgs,'" Clegg said. "So proud of our group. Keep working men."
Maximus McCree, a freshman, posted that he has earned his first offer from Syracuse. Current Iowa Central sophomore Jakob Bradford has already committed to the Orange.
Richard Rodriguez, a returning All-American, added Temple and Western Kentucky to his list of suitors.
Anthony Berry received offers from UNLV, Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky.
They weren't the only ones, as tight end Clayton Ollendieck picked up an offer from Southeast Missouri State just days after catching three touchdowns in a win over Ellsworth.
No. 7 Iowa Central travels to Council Bluffs this Saturday to face sixth-ranked Iowa Western. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
