The Iowa Central football team puts a cap on the ICCAC season here when they host Ellsworth on Saturday afternoon.
Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. inside Dodger Stadium.
With a win, the Tritons (3-3 overall) will secure a spot in a postseason game.
"Our kids know that we still have a lot to play for," Iowa Central head coach Jesse Montalto said. "We've got this game, Arkansas Baptist and hopefully a bowl game vs. a Top-10 team. If we can win those three, we'll be in a good position to start the fall."
Last weekend, the Tritons fell to No. 2 Snow, 48-18. The game was tied at 3-all before the Badgers took control over the final 30 minutes. Iowa Central held them to just 258 yards of total offense and only 3 of 14 on third-down conversions.
"We gave up too much in terms of special teams yards and turnovers," Montalto said. "We just couldn't put ourselves in a position to really move the ball with much success."
Byron Jarrett found the end zone twice in the second half on the ground while also throwing for 109 yards. Jadon Washington ran for 72 yards and Desna Washington had three receptions for 101.
Ellsworth (2-4 overall) comes in off a 22-20 victory at Southern-Shreveport. The Panthers also led Snow at the half two weeks ago before falling 69-18.
"They are playing much better since the first time we saw them," Montalto said. "They have settled on a quarterback, some players are healthy and they are coming in here wanting to score a big win. Our guys are going to have to be ready."
Kevin Lukasiewicz threw for 228 yards vs. Southern-Shreveport, completing 24 of 39 passes to five different receivers. Ja'Ron Early had 60 yards rushing and Lukasiewicz ran in two scores.
