Major Williams helped spark the 10th-ranked Iowa Central football team this past week.

Williams returned a kickoff back for a touchdown as part of a win over Ellsworth for the Tritons.

Along with being named ICCAC Athlete of the Week, Williams has now been named the NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week.

He recorded 99 yards on two kickoff returns, including the touchdown. On defense, Williams had four tackles, broke up a pass and had half-a-tackle for loss.
