Following a bye and two lengthy road trips to Kansas, the Iowa Central football team returns home looking to get back on the track.
The 15th-ranked Tritons host Dodge City here on Saturday inside Dodger Stadium at 11 a.m. The contest will be part of hall of fame weekend for the school.
Along with the game, Tanner Aus, Morgan (Brown) Angotti, Sessions Harlan, Dan Cassady, Lisa Schimkat, Joseph LeValley and the 2007-08 women's cross 3-4) country team will all be inducted into the Iowa Central Hall of Fame later Saturday evening.
Iowa Central (4-3 overall) dropped a 41-24 decision to No. 6 Butler, and have also suffered losses in Kansas to 10th-ranked Coffeyville (47-30) and No. 1 Hutchinson (31-28) around wins over Independence, Garden City, Ellsworth and College of DuPage.
Omarion Bartlett returned to action, throwing for 172 yards and rushing for another 42 with a touchdown. Justin Silverstein completed 14 of 19 for 118 yards and two scores, as Cal Weidemann caught a pair of TDs and Colton Hoag had the other.
