Desna Washington had his best game of the 2022 season last week against Dodge City. The sophomore hauled in nine catches for 162 yards and touchdowns as the Tritons dominated 49-22. It was the fifth time in his career he has gone over 100 yards in a game. He was one catch shy of his career high (10) and 13 yards short of his best yardage in a game (177) -- both of which came against Iowa Western in 2021. On the season Washington has 606 yards in eight games. He is sixth in the NJCAA in yards, fourth in touchdowns (7) and 13th in catches (35). If his production continues -- he could make his way into the All-American conversation.
