Iowa Central's Austin Erickson had a nice event at the NIACC Invite – The sophomore won the event with a 72, event par (tying with Thomas Houdayer of Waldorf). Erickson started the event hot – going five under in his first 11 holes before leveling off. Iowa Central won the event by three strokes over Iowa Lakes with a team 301 (+13). The Tritons take some time off before the Waldorf Fall Invite in Albert Lea on Sept. 25.
