Iowa Central took home the Region 11 Championship crown at the Indoor Meet last week with big help from Waukeem Walters. Walters scored 18 team points for the Tritons taking first place in the Long Jump (7.45m) and second place in the Triple Jump (14.93m). Walters is second in the country to date in the Long Jump with a season best of 7.56m. His Triple Jump mark was good for fifth-best. He and his teammate Roman Kuleshov look to help score to the Tritons at the National Meet -- Kuleshov also scored 18 points at the Regional last weekend.
