Iowa Central's Yared Kidane had a great day at the Region 11 Championships, winning the Men's 800 Meters. He set a meet record with a time of 1:53.29 breaking the previous best of 1:53.54 set by Banjo Jaiyesimi of Iowa Western back in 2011. Kadane also powered the Tritons to a second place finish in the 4x400 meter relay. He has the potential to compete in seven events at the NJCAA Championships next month.
