Iowa Central's Aries Scott broke through at the NJCAA Indoor National Championships to win the Men's Heptathlon. Scott won both the Long Jump (7.17m) and High Jump (1.96m) while taking third place in the 60 Meter Hurdles (8.43) and 1000 Meters (2:45.02). He beat out the other 15 athletes at the championships scoring 5175 points -- 89 more than second place. Scott is the back-to-back Region 11 Champion of the Decathlon at the Outdoor meet. He won the Indoor regional for the first time this season.
