Men's Track & Field Competes at Duncan And Kansas Relays

Track competed at Kansas and Drake April 13-15.

Members of the Iowa Central Men's Track and Field Teams participated in the Jim Duncan Relays at Drake University on April 14 and The Kansas Relays in Lawrence, KS April 13-15.

Top-10 finishers for the men at the Kansas Relays included Kamijah Carter taking fifth in the 100-Meter Hurdles, Roman Kuleshov finishing fifth, Waukeem Walters finishing seventh and Samson Shukuru finishing in ninth place each in the Men's Triple Jump. Walters finished in fourth place in the Long Jump and Kuleshov finished eighth.

The 4x800 Meter Relay team of Joseph Asahi Wright, Trae Corby, Jadon Boots and Baylor Bergren finished in eighth place. The 4x100 Meter Relay squad of Zion Campbell, Ayomide Oyetunji, Darrel Woodson and Marreion Marks also finished eighth. The Distance Medley Relay Team of Joseph Asahi Wright, Trae Corby, Jadon Boots and Baylor Begren finished in fourth place.

At the Jim Duncan Relays, Rayvon Wright finished in eighth place in the Men's High Jump. D'Quan Williams finished fifth in the Men's 100-Meter Dash and Kumunule Gbaley finished first in the Men's 200-Meter Dash. Ander Juilan received 10th place in the Men's 5000-Meter Run.

The Men's 4x100 Team of D'Quan Williams, Kumunule Gbaley, Lawren Mitchell and Sean Folarin finished in first place.

Walters' and Kuleshov's performances in the Triple Jump qualified them for Nationals.  Campbell and Walters also recorded Top-10 All-Time Best finishes for the Tritons.

The Tritons will Travel to Emporia State in Kansas April 22-23.
