Iowa Central's Tafari Bishop ran in the 400 Meters and 400 Meter Hurdles last weekend at the Emporia State Midwest Classic. In the 400 Meters, Bishop took fourth place with a time of 47.99, a personal best. In the 400 Meter Hurdles, he took third place, just six seconds behind his open pace at 53.15. That time was .01 seconds behind his season best time run back in Wichita on March 24. Bishop is 11^th in the country in the Hurdles, and 40^th (7^th in the ICCAC) in the 400 Meters.
