Dahmouch Earns ICCAC Athlete of the Week Honors for Third Time

Mohamed Dahmouch is on pace to win a national title if he continues his trends of this season. At the Iowa State Classic, Dahmouch made the most of his chance, finishing second in the Mile Run but the fastest time by a NJCAA athlete. With his 4:02.45 mile run he currently is first in the NJCAA standings and would have won the Indoor National Title last season. The time was also an Iowa Central record along with the fastest mile ever run by a NJCAA athlete on an oversized track. The next meet for Dahmouch and the Tritons will be in Brookings, S.D. in the SDSU Indoor Classic before the Region 11 Championships on Feb. 21-22.
