Coaches Corner
"The men were ranked 3rd going into the meet and we knew we had a very real chance of winning.  We are thrilled to be back on the podium, our first time since finishing as National Runners Up in 2021 at Pittsburg State University. It was a very close battle the entire way, our men fought very hard and did absolutely everything they could. We are extremely proud of them and their accomplishments.  Very thrilled to have a national champion in Haydn Stockdale on his last attempt of the weight throw.

The women's team knew it was going to be a very close race for 4th through 7th places. We did everything right, a few things didn't go our way but the other teams definitely had some great performances.  It is hard to be disappointed with a seventh-place finish when we had lots of personal bests, All-Americans and a school record breaking performance from Belinda in the 600m!!" - Director of XC/TF Dee Brown

"The end results weren't what we were hoping for, but we could not be prouder of how all our athletes competed. We needed a lot of things to go our way to win a title on the men's side and bring home a trophy on the women's side. Our athletes did everything thing that was asked of them and more. They worked for this and wanted this; they all have so much to be proud of. This team is ready for the outdoor season, they aren't done yet." - Head Track and Field Coach, Anne Cleary
