Fresh off a dominating performance to capture the Grand View Invitational title, Iowa Central's Kelvin Bungei has been named the NJCAA Div. I Men's Runner of the Week.

Bungei captured the race title in 15:17 as the Tritons won the team crown as well.

This was the first runner of the week award to be presented this season.

Iowa Central, ranked No. 1 in the nation, competes in Ankeny at the Viking Invitational hosted by Grand View this Friday.
