Pur Biel tuned up for the postseason in a big way this past weekend.

Running against talented athletes from several different divisions, Biel captured the individual title at the Mustang XC Jamboree. He covered the 8K tract in 25:11.1, nearly three seconds faster than runner-up Jeremy Fopma of Maranatha Baptist, who placed first individually at the the 2019 NJCAA Cross Country Championships.

This is the second time this season that Biel has been named National Athlete of the Week.

The Tritons host the Region XI Championships this weekend and the NJCAA Championships the following week.
