Iowa Central opened the 2020 sport shooting season with a victory over Iowa Lakes.

The Tritons finished with a score of 493 thanks to a perfect 100 by Noah Sundene. The Lakers had 448. 

Along with Sundene's perfect score, Justin Marcinik had a 99, Andrew Troje a 99, Thayne Chapin a 98 and Keylan Dracon a 97.

The teams competed virtually in the first head-to-head competition of the ICCAC season. 

In other Week 1 results, Iowa Western bested Ellsworth, Hawkeye topped Corridor and Southwestern defeated Northwest Iowa. 

The Tritons are first in the West Division with 493 points, 11 ahead of the Reivers.
