The Iowa Central women picked up a second consecutive win here Friday evening, dominating Elgin, 66-35, inside Hodges Fieldhouse.
A 26-8 fourth-quarter helped spark the Tritons to the victory, as Kaitlyn Tendal scored 18 points with three 3-pointers. The freshman also haad four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Tendal had eight points with two triples during the fourth.
Tessa Grooms and Emily Theiss each added 10 points, while Grace Ganshert had 13 rebounds.
Jorja Hanselman had nine points and seven rebounds for Iowa Central (4-2 overall), with Aleaha Pommer chipping in eight points, three boards and two steals.
The Tritons held a commanding 55-39 edge on the glass and knocked down seven triples.
For Elgin (2-4), Ari Marchan and Takara Campbell each scored seven. Kelechi Uchem collected 11 rebounds.
