Ivanna Becerra Diaz – Iowa Central – Sophomore
Ivanna Becerra-Diaz put together a strong two-day performance to earn runner-up honors at the Iowa Central Spring Invite, finishing just two strokes back from the individual title. Becerra-Diaz opened the tournament four-over on day one, recording one birdie. But it was day two where she made her move—playing just one-over par with two birdies and a clutch eagle on hole fifteen to climb the leaderboard and secure second place. Her performance also helped push the Tritons to a runner-up team finish, just eight strokes behind the tournament champions on their home course.

Bailey Doe – Iowa Central – Sophomore
Iowa Central's Bailey Doe delivered in the clutch this past week, taking first place on the Tritons' home course with an even-par finish across two rounds to win by a single stroke. Doe came out strong on day one, going 2-under with five birdies. The second round started shakier, with two bogeys in the first three holes, but he bounced back in a big way with an eagle on hole seven. Down the stretch, Doe showed championship composure, birdieing his final two holes to seal the individual title. While Doe stood at the top individually, the Tritons finished runner-up as a team in a competitive showing on their home turf.

Breanna Nolte – Iowa Central – Sophomore – First Base
Breanna Nolte was a consistent offensive force for Iowa Central as the Tritons went 7-1 over an eight-game stretch. Nolte went 12-for-22 (.545) at the plate, racking up three doubles, three triples, and three home runs. She crossed the plate 11 times and drove in 16 RBI, playing a huge role in the team's dominant week. One of her standout performances came in an 11-1 win over Hawkeye, where Nolte went 2-for-4, collecting a double and a home run while scoring three runs and adding three RBI. Having played in all 39 games this season, Nolte currently leads the Tritons with an impressive .475 batting average, continuing to set the tone for the team's offense.

Maeva Goune Tibbolo – Iowa Central – Freshman – Long Jump
Maeva Goune Tibbolo, a standout long jumper, competed at the Missouri Mule Relays last week, where she posted a 5.99-meter jump. While it wasn't a personal best for the Iowa Western athlete, the mark was significant as it tied for the longest jump in the NJCAA Outdoor season so far. Her indoor personal best of 6.03 meters, set earlier this year at the Battle of the Hive, remains a career highlight. Despite not surpassing that mark outdoors, her consistent performance in the long jump shows she remains a top contender. Tibbolo is aiming to build on her fourth-place finish at the Indoor Nationals last month and will look to improve as the outdoor season progresses. With her talent and experience, she's poised to challenge for national titles in the coming weeks.
