Iowa Central's Luke Moffitt has been named the 2021 ICCAC Coach of the Year, the league announced.

Moffitt led the Tritons to a third place finish at the recent NJCAA National Championships. 

Under the guidance of Moffitt, Iowa Central crowned another national champion in Jose Rodriguez, along with three runner-up finishes from Bret Minor, Keaton Geerts and Jorden Pryor. Rodriguez was the 31st individual champion for Moffitt, a former Iowa Central national champion wrestler himself. 

The Tritons have won seven national titles with Moffitt at the helm, placing in the Top-3 12 times in 17 seasons. They have a streak of Top-8 finishes each of Moffitt's seasons as head coach. 

Moffitt has been named national coach of the year five times. 

Iowa Central was the highest finishing team at nationals out of the six ICCAC schools in attendance. 

Iowa Western's Isaiah Crosby and North Iowa Area's Christian Minto shared the top wrestler award.
