FORT PIERCE, Fla. - The NJCAA has announced the All-Americans for the 2020-21 season with Iowa Central's Magali Mouton being honored.
Mouton, a three-event winner at the recent NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, was named an All-American in all three events. The Triton swept the breaststroke races, capturing gold in the 50, 100 and 200.
A sophomore, Mouton was the lone All-American from Iowa Central.
During nationals, Mouton became the first-ever female national champion for the Tritons. Only Jamestown, South Georgia State and Southwestern Oregon had All-Americans outside of Indian River State, which claimed another team title.
On the men's side, Southwestern Oregon and Barton were the only other programs outside of Indian River State to be honored.
In the fall, Mouton will be attending Long Island University to continue her swimming and academic careers.
