CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Iowa Central volleyball team went 2-2 over the weekend here at the Parkland Tournament.

The Tritons picked up wins over McHenry in five and Lincoln Land in three, while falling to Heartland in five and Parkland in three.

Katilyn Steffes had 25 kills in the win over McHenry with six aces, while Michaelah Petrowiak had 11 kills and four blocks vs. Heartland. Jori Hajek recorded 10 kills and 11 digs vs. Lincoln Land and Leah Jolly had four blocks vs. Parkland.

Iowa Central returns to the court on Wednesday when they host Hawkeye in a ranked battle between ICCAC teams.
