ICCAC Athlete of the Week Accolades for Three Tritons

Jaden Turner – Iowa Central – Sophomore – Safety
Iowa Central safety Jaden Turner was a force in the Triton secondary against Dodge City. Turner finished with five tackles, one forced fumble and recovery, and an interception. On the forced fumble, Turner lowered his shoulder on Dodge City's running back, knocking the ball loose for an easy recovery. On the interception, he undercut a bad throw for an easy pick. Turner and the Tritons will hit the road to face DuPage on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Hafsa Oukadou – Iowa Central – Freshman
Freshman Hafsa Oukadou produced her best race this past weekend. She finished fourth out of 239 runners in the women's 5K Prairie Course at the Chili Pepper Festival. Her personal-best time of 18:09 highlighted a standout race. Oukadou will compete again at the Bradley Pink Invitational on Oct. 17.

Chakib Cherakoui Rhazouani – Iowa Central – Freshman
Freshman Chakib Cherakoui Rhazouani's running ability was on full display during the 8K McDonnell course in the Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival. Rhazouani finished 17th out of 285 total runners and was the top NJCAA runner overall. His time of 24:27 is a PR as well. Rhazouani will run again at the Bradley Pink Invitational on Oct. 17.
