In a game with first round home game importance, Ellsworth beat Iowa Central by a score of 85-84. With the win, Ellsworth will now host Iowa Central in the first round of the regional tournament on Tuesday night. "This is a tough game to lose because we wanted to host that first round game. But, we usually play well over there, so we will regroup the next couple days, watch film and be ready to go on Tuesday night." Said Dennis Pilcher, head coach of Iowa Central. Iowa Central was down by 3 with 10 seconds to go, but once again, Tray Croft hit a 3 with 1.3 seconds to send the game into overtime. "Tray hit some big shots today that kept us in it. Obviously that 3 was huge."

With the loss, Iowa Central finishes the regular season at 19-11 overall and 5-7 in ICCAC play. Next game for the Tritons will be on Tuesday, March 6th at Ellsworth in the First Round of the Region XI tournament. Game time will be at 7:00pm
