Austin Hilmer will join the Iowa Central Men's Basketball staff as an assistant coach. Hilmer comes to Iowa Central after wrapping up his four year playing career at NCAA DII Upper Iowa University. Austin played in 119 total games for the Peacocks with 22 starts. In his career Austin went 76-43 while playing at Upper Iowa. Austin played his prep career at North Linn High School where he was a part of two state-title teams. In his senior year, Austin averaged 22ppg and 7apg on a 27-1 state championship team. Austin graduated from Upper Iowa in '25 with a degree in Communications.
