OTTUMWA - The Iowa Central women's soccer team will make the trip back here for the opening round of the Region XI Div. I Tournament, taking on Indian Hills Sunday.
The match begins at 1 p.m.
In the other semifinal, Iowa Western hosts Iowa Lakes with the two winners squaring off on Wednesday.
The Tritons improved to 6-5 on the year with a 4-0 victory over No. 14 (Div. II) Northeast in their regular season finale. Flavie Sallaz, Julia Herbst, Elicia Mulvaney and Abigail Dalebout each recorded a goal with Anna Pons and Annabelle Friege picking up an assist each.
Jasmine Kurufher made five saves in net for her sixth win of the season and third shutout.
Indian Hills (10-1-1 overall) swept the two meetings with Iowa Central, winning 3-1 and 4-1. Bailey Wiemann leads the team with seven goals and 14 assists while Ashlyn Haas, Risa Ogasawara and KJ Schmidt all have six goals each.
